Human Rights Campaign and ENDA: Shame on HRC

Last night the Human Rights Campaign broke away from a newly formed coalition "ENDAunited". HRC's decision to support the amended version of the ENDA bill is a disgrace. They are the only one in a group of about 300 organizations that have taken this position. Have they not seen what we here in NY are having to go through to include GENDA in our previous passed bill. We should learn by our mistakes of the past.

Why do we have to always settle for second class treatment? Too many of us are self loathing LGBT'ers. Why should we have to compromise? We are tired of this abusive relationship. Lets stick it out and wait until the bill is all inclusive of our fellow transgender community. WE waited 34 years we can wait a few more. We must stay united. We can not divide our community.


Personally my husband and I will not be supporting HRC financially until they change their position.
